The mountain tour to Schareck is pure mountain hiking! The challenging hike begins with the leisurely mountain ride on the yellow Sonnenbahn or the red Grosseckbahn. If you want to go from the Peterbaueralm to the Schareck, take hiking trail no. 94 to the summit of the Speiereck. Continue on path no. 745 and at the junction at the saddle and towards Schareck. From this junction you hike for around 1.5-2 hours up the ridge to Schareck. In the summit area you should have a head for heights and be sure-footed.
After a long rest at Schareck and lots of views into the far distance, we head back along the same path to the Peterbaueralm at the Sonnenbahn mountain station!
Remember to wear the right hiking equipment on the mountains and have enough drinks and food with you.
